This is my submission to Microsoft Imagine Cup: Project Hoshimi 2007.

Competition idea:

To program the AI/Strategy for a group of nano-bots. This strategy is then played in a 3D-simulated environment and you get points for accomplishing certain tasks and mission with that strategy. The simulated environment represent a human tissue, and your nano-robots has to be injected in a certain place in that tissue in order to do all/most of the tasks required. Tasks include visiting a number of points in the tissue, building enzyme needles, and going to enzyme points to collect enzyme and take it to an enzyme needle and fill it.

“Throwing coffee mugs at customers never been this fun!”

About Caffeine Rush:

Caffeine Rush is an arcade-type game where you try to get as much money as you can (or at least enough to keep your job) by throwing colored coffee mugs at customers.

Game idea and Game play:

The way you play the game is by throwing(firing) coffee mugs at customers that appear at the top of the screen and advance in your direction in a timely manner. Each customer has a coffee type prefrence and that type is represnted by the customer color. You are suppose to throw a colored mug to the customer with the same color, this will give you $3 and a happy customer. Throw the wrong colored mug and you lose 3$ (because it comes out of your pay check!) and the customer goes away angry(what a shame!). Now, two types of customers has a special coffee preference, and you don’t have that type in your coffee list. Coffee cups of those 2 types will appear on your counter and you are supposed to pick them up before they disappear and serve it to them. Other than that, they will keep advancing to your counter, blocking you from serving the rest of the customer (each wrong colored mug thrown at them will cost you $3). If your balance reachs $ -50, you lose your job and you are fired. If you are good enough, and your balance rose up, the coffee shop will have more customers and it will be more challenging.

Try to beat your top balance score! (an endless game, be sure to have lots of coffee at arms reach …… Drink it, don’t throw it!).
