IEEE meeting Tue Dec20 06

Last night we had a IEEE student branch meeting (KFUPM university). We held it in the Intel lab I work in (fun having the keys to where you work ;) ). We talked about issues like the website of the branch, sport activities and activities in general, and some future plans and stuff. It was fun, but it took more time than it was planned for. we started at 9 pm and finished at 11:30 pm …. I was also asked to tag along for dinner, so the day wasn’t over for me until 2 am and I have a class at 7 am (and I’m writing this in that class :P). I thought about volunteering for more work at the IEEE, but the problem is that I’m afraid it will suck time from my self-studies for (C#, XNA, MS Robotics, Games programming). I really love to volunteer and community work, but I still chasing my dream to be a game programmer. So until I’m hired by EA or SquareSoft, I think that I’ll hold on spending too much time outside my self-studies. I hope that wont be a long time :)
